The Empire State processed over $2 billion in wagers in October, setting a new national record for a single month.
New York continues to prove why it is the crown jewel of the US sports betting market. In October, the state's nine licensed operators accepted a combined $2.01 billion in wagers, shattering the previous national record.
Football season was the primary driver, but the MLB playoffs and the start of the NBA season contributed heavily. FanDuel and DraftKings accounted for nearly 75% of the total handle, further cementing their duopoly in the state.
